northern exposure--vigan

after weeks of planning, we were off to pagudpud for the long weekend. we set off on two vehicles: the kids, their moms and the nannies were driven on a rented van, while my sister and her friends in her hubby's SUV.

we started our trip to the north at 1130PM on thursday. the first hour of the trip was a bit noisy, since there were six kids and a baby on board. asking questions about where we were going and what they plan to do at the beach. in a few hours, they all dozed off.

about 800 am the next day, we found ourselves in Vigan. This city is famous for its well-preserved houses and cobblestone streets that date back to the 17th century. the kids had a blast looking at the old houses and at the souvenir shops.

we only stayed a half hour in the city to stretch our legs and eat some snacks. after all, we still were a few hours away from our real destination --pagudpud..
